NSW Minimoto

NSW MMCi were happy to be involved with the first ever minimoto race that was held in NSW at Wollongong City Raceway on the 17/6/07, the track is located at the corner of West Dapto Rd & Princess Highway Kembla Grange. Well I am happy to say that the first year of racing has been run & won, a big congratulations goes to all the rider's & teams that participated in 2007.

The 2008 race calendar has all but been confirmed so make sure your bikes are ready for the new year. The racing this year was very close with very few crash's, which only highlights the skill of the rider's who participated this year. In 2008 we are again looking to grow with the addition of more riders & even more class's. Junior's will also be a main focus for the new year with only a few making for the 2007 season. If you are looking to have your child move into road racing then minimoto is the place to start the road racing career off, this has been proven with the Metrakit Series & the Honda 150 series , the winners of both of these class's had there first few years racing minimoto to hone in there skills & now look at them they are both off to France to compete & the winner of the Metrakit series also off to Spain.

And lastly thank you to all the riders & teams. There is an old saying in the racing circles & that is you should always turn up weather it's rain hail or shine as you never know.
